Katarokwi Indigenous Day of Wellness

 

2019 Katarokwi Indigenous Day of Wellness (KIDOW) is taking place on Friday, October 25th from 1pm - 6pm at the Kingston Community Health Centres at 263 Weller Ave.

Over the past 5 years KIDOW has offered a space for Indigenous people of all ages living in the Kingston area to connect directly with community services and integrative health practices in a setting that is committed to a holistic perspective of health and well being.

Sisters in Spirit

 Ollin sits on the committee of the Sisters in Spirit, which is a vigil rotating every year from Tyendinaga, Belleville, and Kingston. This vigil honors and tributes to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S). Vigil which takes place annually on October 4th.
